    What populates the <is-published> tag? I created a dummy page that I did not publish, and on my site-map index block that same asset has it’s <is-published> tag set to yes. Am I missing something? How do we prevent our sitemap from indexing items not yet published?

    Indexing and publishing are two properties on assets that are toggled independently of each other. The "is-published" value in the index block indicates whether the asset is capable of being published. The "last-published-on" and "last-published-by" elements indicate if/when/by who the asset was published. 

    You will have to do XSLT filtering to remove assets from an index that have not been published yet.
