Targets and CSS

I am ending up with too many targets – and it’s becoming unwieldy.  Most of these are the same, but only differ in the CSS file that is attached.  Would it be possible to decouple the CSS from the target – maybe adding it to the template or configuration file – that seems to be where it belongs since it is a design element.

How granular are the various Targets and their different CSS files? Are these different sites that need different CSS or or these micro-sites within larger sites? Want to get an idea of the level of granularity that is required in your particular setup.

in some cases, these are actually different sites within the Brandeis domain.  In other cases, these are different sections of the same site, that have their own look & feel (e.g. the Heller School MBA program has a different look & feel from the Heller School MPP program, but both are sections within heller.brandeis.edu.  Other sections of heller.brandeis.edu use the default/standard Heller look & feel.  Each look & feel requires its own templates & CSS.

    I hope this helps.
